You’ll leave Stavanger before dawn for a guided 4-kilometer hike to Preikestolen, Norway’s 604-meter-high Pulpit Rock. Small groups of up to eight use headlamps and hiking poles, with guides such as Alan, Stephan, and Erlend leading the way. After sunrise over Lysefjorden, return to Basecamp for breakfast.

The hike was challenging but manageable and our guide gave us lots of breaks for water. Make sure you bring an extra jacket, hat and gloves for the top. We had great weather but the top is freezing and very windy. Overall, a great experience and we loved our guide!”
