“It was perfect- we are quite a large group so we split between two minibuses and then split into 3 groups for the walking so it felt like a nice personalised experience. All the guides were knowledgeable and friendly.”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 208 reviews · 6 hours (approx.) · from $106

Meet at 8:00 am in Sorrento and ride by air-conditioned minivan to Bomerano. With a guide such as Nino, Antonio, or Antonino, you’ll hike old terraces and vineyards above the Amalfi Coast, use provided trekking poles, and stop at a shepherd’s hut for local food and music. The route returns to Bomerano, not Positano.

“First and foremost it was incredibly beautiful and you will finish with a strong sense of accomplishment. HOWEVER I read a ton of reviews prior to going and none of them laid out the reality. 1. You must be in AT MINIMUM moderate shape. Any review that says it is “easy” or “a light hike” is someone who hikes professionally. 2. It is steep and can be very slippery at times. 3. Can feel incredibly dangerous. 4. The bathroom at the shepherds place is not an easy situation for a woman 5. There is a lot of uphill 6.The “easier path” is not easy, it is still a challenge 7.…”

“If your ok with a few rock steps up or down, most of the trail is easy going. There are crews working on parts to make them safer and easier. Its a great hike with many great views. Our guide was great and had good history of the area. If all you want to do is hike and take pics you can go for days but if you want history with it we enjoyed the guided tour. Great day.”
