Start in Gros Islet at 7:20 a.m. for a 4.5-hour open-air 4x4 ride through plantations and rainforest to Venus Estate Waterfall near Anse La Raye. Guides such as Lulu, Marley, Crystal, Kelvin, and Dee add island history, plant knowledge, humor, and trail help. Wear water shoes, bring sun protection, and expect wet feet.
“Walking through the rainforest and seeing the local trees, fruits and wildlife was so different to the beach. Walking through streams and seeing the natural waterfalls, bathing in the pool it was beautiful. Dee and Marley gave a very informative trip, took photographs of us and made it fun as we went along. We also visited the local town and ate Caribbean food made by the locals. It was a great outing. Thank you.”
